Is WalkUp DJ really free?+
Yes. Every feature — unlimited teams, operators, the waveform editor, soundboard, playlists, offline Game Day and custom branding — is completely free. No paid plans, no limits.
Do I need to rebuild the roster for every game?+
No. Build the team once, then any authorized operator opens Game Day and runs it — the roster, songs and announcements are already there.
How does the Game Code work?+
An admin generates a six-digit code and shares it. An operator enters it on the Join screen and gets Game Day access to that team instantly.
Can I use my own music?+
Yes. Upload MP3, M4A or WAV files you have the rights to use. We never pull copyrighted audio from streaming services.
Does it work without internet at the ballpark?+
Yes. Active lineup audio, announcements and soundboard clips are cached locally, so Game Day keeps running through connection drops.
How do I connect my Bluetooth speaker?+
Pair the speaker in your device's Bluetooth settings, then open Game Day. The app uses your system audio output — just like any other app.
